PROMOTIONS

1. Marks obtained in the four units/FA-1, FA-2, FA-3, FA-4 and SA-1, SA-2 will also be considered for promotion to next higher class.
2. To keep the parents in touch with the performance of their children at school, Progress Reports will be sent periodically.
3. To encourage children for better performance, prizes are awarded to outstanding pupils. A student will be sent out from school if he/she fails twice in the same class.

 

ATTENDANCE

1. A minimum of 75% of the total attendance of the academic session is necessary for a pupil to take the Annual Examination.
2. Shortage of attendance up to 15% may be condoned in case of genuine illness if supported by a medical certificate.

 

SCHOOL WORKING HOURS

1. The school works in two sessions between 9.00 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. with usual intervals from Monday to Saturday except on Second Saturday. Daily assembly starts at 9.00 a.m.
2. K.G. Classes work from 9.00 a.m. to 11.45 a.m. on Saturdays.

 

RULES OF DISCIPLINE

  • They should be regular to school and neatly dressed in the prescribed school uniform.
  • They should be ready with all required learning materials as per the daily time table.
  • They should be attentive in the class, take down notes on the lessons taught during each period, and read each day’s lessons at least twice at home.
  • They should take care of the assignments given in the School Dairy, complete and submit the same on the due date.
  • They should be honest, truthful, loyal, orderly, hardworking and self-disciplined.
  • They should be polite to every one, show due respect to others and maintain self-respect.
  • They should learn what is right and avoid the company of undesirable elements; desist from gossiping and tale bearing; and they should not allow themselves to be misguided by others.
  • They should take maximum interest to participate in the various activities of the school which will help them to discover and develop their innate talents and build up their total personality.
  • All students must carry their school dairy and wear identity card every day.
  • Students are allowed to use the school telephone only with permission of the class teacher.
  • Electronic items like Discman, Walkman, Ipod , Cell Phones are not permitted.
  • Ragging and Betting in any form is prohibited.

 

CO-OPERATION OF PARENTS

The parents have a great role to play in the education and personality development of their children

  • The parents are expected to do their part in enforcing regularity and discipline of their children.
  • They should see that the children learn their lessons and do their homework daily.
  • They should provide the children with a well-planned home time table for their studies.
  • They should check all the Note Books and Dairies of children periodically (at least once a week), and make sure that the written work in all the subjects is up to date. They should initial the remarks/suggestions in the dairy as a sign of acknowledgement.
  • They should visit the school at least once during each term and meet the Principal and the teachers to know about the progress of their children, in additori to the regular P.T.Meet.
  • They should always encourage their children to participate in as many co-curricular activities as possible to bring out the full potentialities of their children and to build up self-confidence and self-esteem in them
  • They should avoid criticizing the teachers of the school in the presence of children lest they lose respect for their school and teachers.
  • They should bring any complaint or suggestion they many have to the Principal and not to the teachers directly.

JMJ Global School, Tenali, is one of the organizations of the Society of J.M.J.(Jesus Mary Joseph),which was started in Holland in 1822 by by Rev.Fr. Mathias Wolff S.J., with the aim of promoting education. The Society extended its services to Indonesia, India, Rome, Australia, Africa and America.
